Your privacy while visiting our site is important to us. Information We Collect
The National Foundation for Teen Safe Driving, NFTSD (collectively “FOUNDATION”) collects the following types of Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”): names (individual and organization), titles, postal and e-mail addresses, phone and fax numbers, and billing information. We use this information to reply to inquiries and process billing and business requests related to program participation, including membership, donations, purchases, and online communications. This information will only be accessed by appropriate FOUNDATION staff and the occasional third party as described below.

We use this information to help us make our site more useful to visitors—to learn about the number of visitors to our site and the types of technology our visitors use. To facilitate www.dchsdf.org’s offerings and services, on occasion, certain selected user information must be made temporarily available to selected data processors such as fulfillment bureaus or database consultants. Such data processors are instructed to act strictly upon instruction from FOUNDATION.

Opt-out/ Corrections
Visitors to FOUNDATION website may request to view the information about them and to remove and/or correct their names, contact data, and other information on the FOUNDATION website by contacting the FOUNDATION web director.

Youth Under the Age of 13
We are a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and are exempt from compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Nevertheless, we choose to protect the privacy of children under the age of 13 within the spirit of COPPA in a number of ways. If you are under the age of 13, you need your parent’s permission to use our websites. Unless we receive your parent’s verifiable consent you may not provide us with any personal information (such as name, address, telephone number, email address, picture of yourself) on any of our websites. If we learn that we have personal information obtained from a child under 13 without the required parental consent, we will delete that information as soon as possible.
